About us

This site is owned by a fan of metal and enamel lapel pins, hereafter called Pinaddictfan. Pinaddictfan began collecting lapel pins in 2007 when there was an uproar over the type of flag pin worn by politicians. Pinaddictfan just wanted a nice flag pin but instead fell down the ebay lapel pin rabbit hole and has never been the same. Politics shall not be further discussed on this site. Everyone can appreciate a nice lapel pin. Pinaddictfan has a large collection of pins >10,000, with the largest categories being antique school pins, antique red cross pins, and mostly antique mason and related fraternity pins. Owning these pins is not a sign of endorsement of the organization it represents but is rather simply enjoyment of the beauty of the pin.
